Molded fiber paper bottle — sustainable liquid and dry-fill packaging form

Concept and process photography: PAPACKS® Papierflasche / Paper Bottle.

Back to basics // final stage validation

Finally, an actual paper bottle.

That is right: no plastic bottle body inside. RENW Fiber Bottle is in final testing and development for lane-specific launches.

Development status

Pre-commercial program. Tooling, barrier stacks, and payload validation are in final-stage testing with launch partners.

What are you replacing?

Market reality check

A lot of products marketed as a "paper bottle" are still plastic-first formats wearing a paper sleeve. This program is built to push past that: molded-fiber structure first, then barrier strategy specified by use case.

Tube-style round pack — think coated confectionery or small-count fills, in fiber instead of plastic shells.

What we are replacing

Field references

Incumbent 01

PP / HDPE rigid bottles

Strong operational fit, but fossil-plastic body remains the default in many lanes.

Incumbent 02

PET bottle formats

Established infrastructure, but still plastic-first with variable recovery realities by market.

Incumbent 03

Glass containers

Perceived premium, but heavy logistics profile and breakage handling can penalize lanes.

Incumbent 04

Aluminum canisters

Durable and proven, but not always aligned to paper-stream circular packaging targets.

Fiber path

Molded fiber bottle body

Paper-first structure designed to replace plastic body dependency for selected formats.

Paper-first structure

Engineered from FSC-certified wood fiber as the primary form factor, not as a sleeve around a plastic bottle.

Validation in progress

Operational stability targets from -20°C to +80°C for rigorous cold-chain environments. Final payload and barrier validation is ongoing.

No fake paper claims

Designed for paper-stream recovery where local rules accept molded fiber with specified barrier systems, not plastic-first substitutions.
